Atlanta just got a little cuter, y’all. Molly is the sweetest little gal, and her hair is going to rule the world. She will soon realize that she hit the parent jackpot, because her mom and dad have that winning combination of loving and super-fun. She also has an awesome, furry brother named Grizz, who is a pretty great photo-bomber. This dog is so chill, he even let me use him as a tripod at one point. What a swell morning of photo playtime. I had such a blast meeting this wonderful family. Smiles for miles!

One of the great joys of my job is that I often get the privilege of photographing the new babies of couples who’s weddings I’ve shot. It’s just the best thing! I adored Karen and Ash during their beautiful wedding day, and now they have a perfect little lady named Kora. It was really cool to see how this great couple has become the epitome of beautiful, overjoyed first-time parents. That tiny gal is SO loved.

The only thing better than a fun family shoot is one that has the style volume turned up all….the….way. Chris and his cutie-pie daughter Lucy knew how to work some swell outfits!

Just when I think the Gove family couldn’t possibly get any cooler…..they add Lex to the mix! That sweet little guy is one lucky fella. He has two of the most fun parents ever, and a charmingly silly big sister. One of the reasons I love working with this family is because they understand how it’s ok to set up photo situations, but they shouldn’t be forced. You just go with the flow and enjoy the sweet moments and the chaos. Some people might wonder why I posted a pic of Lex crying while Eleanor looks on nervously. I adore that photo. Real family moments, y’all. Thanks to the awesome Gove family for always being real and wonderful.

You guys. The awesomeness is almost too much to bear. Yet another couple who’s wedding I shot had an incredibly adorable baby! Steve and Christina are so great. Steve was my boss a million years ago when I used to make xenograft constructs. Crazy, right? He was the coolest boss, and I was so happy when he married the lovely and wonderful Christina during their gorgeous beach wedding in South Carolina. Now they’ve added sweet little Benjamin to this swell family! He just turned a year old, and soon he will take over the world with just the power of his cuteness. So much joy!

This season, I got to work with SO many wonderful families. There’s always an extra “YAY!” when I’ve shot a couple’s wedding, and then later get to photograph their growing family. It was awesome to see Jessica and Taylor again, and meet their new bundle of joy. I can’t even get over the cuteness, y’all. Not only is William sweet and tolerant, he transforms into my favorite new thing, called “Space Baby” when his dad holds him. It’s the best. I also love how their pup, Taco, wanted to be in every photo. I enjoy some Taco doggie madness.

I’m so happy that this fantastic couple are now part of the adventure of parenthood. This is just a great, great family!

It was so wonderful to see the awesome Chang family again. Their little sweetie has gown so much, and she has personality to spare. Super, super cute! We had a lovely morning at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and organizing pumpkins became a fun and important task. I also got to experience Adelyn’s “blue steel”. Omg!! Man, I am lucky to work with such sweet and enjoyable families. Looking at these photos of the adorable Chang family makes me smile. Hope you do too!

It continues to be the time of year that’s full of portraits with families I completely adore. Oh Carstens family…..you totally rock! Not only are these folks fun, silly, and uber-adorbs, but they often come up with swell ideas for their photo playtime. Last year, it was superhero outfits and capes. Yes! This year, they had mustaches and cards for a serious poker (or possibly “go fish”) tournament. Oh, yes! I also love how they embrace the non-traditional pics with frowns, pouts, and craziness. After all, those are part of real family moments that I think are the coolest. Carstens family, thanks so much for another shoot filled with super-wicked-joy-ness!

The fall season is the BEST! I get to catch up with many of the families I see every year at this time. I’ve known the wonderful Collins family since just after their first lovely gal was born. I’m so fortunate that they keep bringing me back for more photo playtime. Keira and Kirsty are beyond fun, hilarious, and adorable. It’s so cool when kiddos have that much character and personality. Keira had even more silly faces than last time. Kirsty wasn’t nearly as shy as she’s been before. They both have some awesome new dance moves. Shoots with folks like the Collins family make me pretty certain that I’ll never refer to what I do as a “job”. Thanks, you guys.

What a sweet little cutie. Vivanne’s family was preparing for a pretty spectacular party to celebrate her turning a year old. I got to snap some photos of her adorableness and her loving family. I’m not sure how she felt about the cupcake, but she really liked the flowers and cookware. Best. Lobster. Ever. I couldn’t stop laughing. With a family that’s this much fun, this young lady is one lucky gal. Happy birthday, Vivianne!
