REBEKAH & MICHAEL ENGAGEMENT- OAKLAND AND SOPE CREEK

Getting through acres of photos while catching up on blogging gives me a fantastic reminder of some pretty swell shoots. This post is from Rebekah and Michael’s two-part engagement session. On our first photo date, we may or may not have attempted to enter an area that was not completely legal to meander through. Ahem. Attempts were thwarted. Sigh. I won’t say where my next location suggestion was. I had been there a while ago, and it was lovely. We went there, and it was kinda not. They were hoping for a rough around the edges but beautiful kind of location. Oakland Cemetery came to mind. I’ve shot there before, and promised them that shooting there is possible without making it look like in a cemetery. I’m pretty sure they thought I was nuts, but they are far too nice to say so. We had luck at Oakland, and later we did another little shoot sequel at Sope Creek. Persistence pays off! We shot at two really cool places, and I got to spend lots of photo time with the wonderful Rebekah and Michael before shooting their wedding day. YES!
